Alex is currently in Sweden filming the movie Melancholia and later this summer he will be shooting the movie Battleship in Hawaii and Louisiana.
Oh, my! He is gorgeous and sweet, the type of guy to bring home to meet your parents. Sigh, I can’t take so much adorkableness.
Alex, you can bite me anytime in private. lol I’d like to be his huckleberry.

So, maybe it’s not so bad that I have this crush on him even though I’m probably older than any member on this website (45)? I could be his “Skarswoman” instead of his “Skarsgirl”? I mean not that we’ll ever meet but I don’t have to feel like an old hag about crushing on him, right? He really does sound like a decent, good guy. I think that’s the sexiest part about him. Plus telephones, TV, running water…very overrated! lol
Don’t feel so bad Krystean. There are plenty of over 40 Skarsgirls in this forum. I am 42. I believe Sheba and Alexfan are also over 40. I might have missed a few others. I like to consider myself a nice cougar when it comes to Alex. lol

Hey,Krystean,I’m 37 going to 38 on May this year and I’m proud having this soft sort of a crush on Alex despite being an *old auntie* as I’d like to call myself…LOL…I like him way beyond his handosomness and sexy look but also because he’s a charming,funny and grounded man who enjoys the company of real and normal women that really fits with him instead of going for flawless superwomen..and that makes me love him even more,he’s like fresh air in the Hollywood craziness…

My 30 yr old sister has been teasing me lately about my age and a comment I made about another actor on TV. She said I was robbing the cradle. I’m just a little sensitive I guess at the recent turning of 45. But I certainly wouldn’t want to be in my 20’s again either! lol

Dont feel bad, Im 41. Honestly I dont feel older than maybe 35. I wouldnt feel about having a crush on him. I know I dont.
I love how he says just the right thing to make his girlie fans happy and hoping they could have a shot. The idea of him settling down and marrying a girl with values and who is unaffected by the craziness in HW like most actresses makes me think he is indeed PERFECT.
Oh, he’s definitely not perfect. No such thing exists.
@dncr2: of course no perfect thing exists. But you can get pretty darn close, close enough to overlook the few flaws there are…
I know I would overlook whatever flaws Alex might have!

Okay Ladies…when I first read this my little heart was pitter pattering away and I needed to take a few moments to recover
Of course we don’t truly know the man but from the way I see it; he is pretty friggin amazing!! I hope that he does indeed find a woman worthy of him and who will treat him with the respect and graciousness that he is deserving. Reality says it won’t be me but boy does the mind like to fantasize about the possibilities….give me 3 glorious days with the man and I would live happily the remainder of my days.
Wow – he seems to have a pretty refreshing attitude to age! I just got divorced and it is definitely difficult out there – the majority of men I have met aren’t that keen on a 32 yo, you would think I was 132! Besides that, I have kids – can you hear them all running for the hills?? It gives me a bit of hope that perhaps there are men out there and (yes very attractive men!) who don’t think that 32 is past the use by date. I certainly don’t feel past it!

AussieK you are definitely NOT past the use by date! I agree his attitude to age is very refreshing. I don’t know if men’s attitudes to age have changed in the past 10 years since I was in your age group or if it’s a European outlook that Alex has. But don’t worry, you’ve got a lot of good men yet to meet.

He does have a great attitude to age. For those of you who are thinking you’re too old for a younger man, not at all, I’m sure you’re all fabulous. Women get better with age don’t you know!
Here in the UK, there’s a “rule” when looking at younger men “half your age, plus 7″ which would be 27 for me, so if I’m ever lucky enough, he’s old enough! LOL
